BINGO & LUNCH - AROMA BUFFET & GRILL

White Rose Senior Center and Springettsbury Township offer “Bingo” at Aroma Buffet & Grill. Prizes will be given to all of the winners. Lunch will be served prior to Bingo. Lunch is on your own. (Approximately $7.59 buffet, $2.04 beverage; 15% gratuity charged to groups of 8 or more). Come and join the fun!

HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE

An Apprise Counselor from the York County Area Agency on Aging is now available to help you understand Medicare benefits and services. Apprise volunteers are specially trained to answer your questions about Medicare, Medicaid, Medigap, prescription drugs, preventive care and to assist you with your paperwork. The counselors have direct access to State and Federal Medicare information and resources.

Time: The THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Except October, November and December

Location: Springettsbury Township Boardroom - 1501 Mt. Zion Road, York, PA 17402

NEEDLEFELTED MARY AND BABY FOR NATIVITY SET

This will be the first needle-felted figure in our Nativity Set. We will be making Mary or you can make a lady about 6 inches tall. Mary Jane Miller will teach the needle felting technique. Some experience is helpful but not necessary. In demand project! In the fall session, we plan to make Joseph. Supplies needed: car wash sponge for felting on.

QUICK AS A FLASH

Deb Bixler will entertain and demonstrate quick sweet and savory breads and things you can do with them. You will learn the classic quick bread recipe then how to mix and match your ingredients to make an unlimited variety of flavors for tea sandwiches, French toast, muffins, toast, or cupcakes!

SHEEP IN THE MEADOW NEEDLEFELTED PROJECT

You will needle felt a scene on a 6"x6" piece of wool felt. Mary Jane Miller will demonstrate the technique and you will leave with a beautiful piece of artwork that could be framed! Needle felting experience is helpful but not necessary. Supplies needed: car wash sponge for felting on.
